This piece showcases my writing, editing, collaboration, and leadership skills as

I helped plan and create a style manual designed for an audience of UCF students, faculty, and employees as part of my Documents and Collaboration class. For this project, I co-wrote Chapter 3: Research and Documentation and the letter to the audience, served as Head Editor, and took over as project manager when needed.

 

As Head Editor, aka Head Cat Herder as I became affectionately known as, I led a team of four general editors responsible for creating a style guide for the manual and editing the manual throughout the writing process. In addition, I stepped in as project manager when the need arose, coordinating the project to meet deadlines, dealing with concerns, and helping coordinate chapters groups and other editor groups, all on top of my editing and writing duties.
