I decided to include these pieces as they demonstrate my creativity and my ability to adapt to meet a challenge. The comic was challenging as it required me to work in a medium I was only familiar with as a reader. I then wrote a letter explaining my rhetorical choices.

 

 

I chose to draw “99 Red Balloons” by Lena because many people don’t realize the song is about the consequences of war.  By drawing it as a comic, I was able to transform the song into a powerful visual. Unfortunately, I was only able to include the first two pages of the drawn comic due to water damaging the remaining pages.
